is it the weekend yet?

oooh the weekends over. all i want to do is be lazy again. but, no can do, and this week, im ganna stay on top of things! or at least try my best. that way when it comes to SPRING BREAK next week, ill be all caught up.

anywho, i wore this last friday night. i shoould have worn it sat however considering the major bash at wieser house, above fort kakalak. my brother and i had a nice evening of watching drunk kids fall down stairs. it sounds meaner than it is, trust me, you would have been amused. anywho, i never realized how easy this shirt was to wear. the bottom is a little funky but thanks to black magic, all is well.
thrifted top, h&m jeans, sweet shark tooth necklace my mom and i bought in ft. lauderdale, fl

in other news, we took a field trip in class today and went to vouge fabrics in evanston. those old ladies will getcha there, im tellin ya. so you better behave and know all the swatches you want before you even think about lookin one of em in the eye. so serious. anywho, i had a good look over of my newest, and really the first of many to come, garment designs. ill post em soon. all the while, i was distracted by these awesome pins. projects are a brewin....

also in evanston, daves down to earth rock shop. its like a freaking playgroud in there! in fact, there was a kid with his mom in there trying to find some fossil he could buy for ten bux, and he totally found it, with 3.50 to spare. needless to say he was stoked. and so was i when i found this cheap 'adventure' ring as well as a sweet arrowhead, soon to be an earring, and some red jasper to throw around my neck. pics coming soon of the latter two. anywho, i went a little gaudy after my trip, whilest attempting to memorize and tell the difference between 6 duke ellington orchestra recordings. i think i've got em.

this weeks forcast....

brothers project...very cool

the return and embelleshment of my black blazer (its been at the taylors)

and maybe a few surprises..i did hear it was supposed to be like 58 on thursday! whoop whoop!

p.s. i tried dearly to find the song "Ko Ko" by Duke Eliigton and his Orchestra from 1940, but could not find it on youtube or a quick time file. If you can, download and listen to it, its amazing but beware imposters!
