It's been so long

IM BACK. So sorry to have deserted you. Honestly, I just did not have time to keep up with posts while acclimating to the pressures of my first fashion show. I won't bore you with the backlog, but, here is the final result.


Inspired by the modern wing of the art institute of chicago, and the concept of the stripe, which establishes a space between geometric and social space.

long time no blog

Hello. I'm back for a second. Only because I have 36 hours of spring break to enjoy!!! And thats generous. I was so proud of this outfit today that it made me want to blog about it. Also, I FINALLY!!! got that jumper from UO that Rus got me for Christmas, I'm trying to decide if I shoudl exchange it for a bigger size to go for a more baggy look, its already kinda baggy in the thigh and it scoops down really low, esp cause I ain't go tno boobies. ANYWHO. More on that later. Maybe. Or else the next post I do will be after MAY 7TH! aka, fashion show night. AKA the biggest relief of me life.

this was the shoot i styled for my former room mate, Marisol. I wasn't able to be at the shoot when it was taking place, thus the misplaced hat (which i will forever be irked by). It was still fun! Thanks to the whole team!!

this is just a test, part two

jacquard weaving using photocells, max MSP, arduino, and lillypad. the photocells monitor light in real time, then when you get close enough, it triggers a noise. idealy id like to make it way bigger with directional light and stuff in its own room. then when people walk up they trigger the sound, then as they try to figure out how to manipulate it, then i hope that they try and make beats. i would really like to collaborate with my frend megan who majors in interpretive dance. could be rad. maybe.

FINALLY!!! first semester is over. i am free (sort of) for the next six weeks. or like five and a half. and it feels soooooo goooooooood.

SO, its time to catch up, yes? I think ill be posting quite a bit, there are lots of photos, projects, and whatever to catch up on. I cant believe my last post was before thanksgiving! Shame shame shame. well, lets kick it off with a little somefn somefn. my bestie kayla posted some lyrics of this song on her fb, and since i have realized just how great it is.

welcome home

Just when I post images of my old room, I find another. My boyfriend and our friend joe and I all moved into the most perfect apartment yesterday. Things are still a mess but these were the photos we fell in love with on the ad. Our room is the one with the fireplace <3

I am so happy, I want to live here forever. Now if only I could live with MY best friend. SO MUCH SUNSHINE!!
