coat collection. eh.

skirts and tops

had a crit today. went alright. need to make my croqis bigger. also need to work on my shading. and not washing out my presentation, on the top at least.

tops inspired by interstate interchanges, skirts inspired by plate techtonics.


(side note: i am so sick of hearing halo 24/7. i wish it was never invented. )

quick and dirty

so, this weekend was kinda busy. Although I intended it to be the opposite. I did however keep to my promise of doing my homework on friday and being lazy for the rest of the weekend. Thus, I suppose by busy I mean, sleeping. But hey, it was rainy all weekend, so thats ok right? Any who I wanted to make a quick post. Here is a pretty poor picture of my latest and greatest designs. I've got another crit tomorrow so we will see how it goes.

the collection is based on this image here from Bloom Magazine. (which is amazing, and you should check it out if you havent already. i hear marc jacobs uses it when forcasting.)

I'm very sorry about how crappy my camera is. I really need to start saving for a fancier one. And needless to say, I am not the worlds best illustrator, but you get the idea.

I'll try to post a couple more times before NYC on Thursday!!! Oh and also I ended up getting those vans today! Yippie!! So outfits with those are still to come.
