I DID IT! i got my letter today, and was accepted into the fashion program at SAIC! frankly, im not all that surprised, BUT, im still kinda happy. How appropriate is that magnet that Sarah's mom just sent? I would have been really embarrassed if i hadn't gotten in. Stress dismissed. Now if I could just hear from CCA...
Anywho, lately I've been working on our final project for my intro class:a wrap dress. Yes, I know, kill me now, BUT you know I'm not sure it will end up all that bad. I think I could make it work you know. Right now my ideas for alteration are to change the belt from cloth to braided rope, to add tons of box pleats in the back for volume, and do something cool with the sleeves. Anyone else have ideas? What would you do to improve this bland dress?
